Yep, I post over there so much it is ridiculous. And I don’t really like “blogging” there because it’s so ephemeral – I wish there was a way to search your posts or wall. Sometimes there a link or someone mentions something I need to check out and if I don’t go there right then it’s pretty much lost forever amongst the millions of posts. Oh well. Maybe in the next update.
I’ve also been posting more frequently on my food blog – Hot Vegan Mess. Cooking my way through a couple of cookbooks, talking about working hard at becoming a 100% vegan, and enjoying the art of cooking again.
Photography has definitely taken a backburner in my life right now. I’m doing a lot of things for my church – administering two websites, creating the weekly bulletin, learning Constant Contact and sending email newsletters and updates. I’m also going to start leading a 7 week workshop called Just Eating? this Sunday. Woohoo! And I just became the head of the Huntington Culture Center, I’m working on planning our first event of the year. And I just wrote an article for a local monthly newspaper, where my photography is going to be featured also.
I did go out a couple of weeks ago during a snowstorm and take photos in a nearby park. It was a crazy nighttime shoot with snow blowing everywhere. I had a big golf umbrella to protect my camera and did all of my shooting on a tripod. Fun!! The photo here is from that shoot.
