I just wrote another blog post, and it ended in such a different place from where I started that I just saved it as a draft. So many things bubbled to the surface that my emotions got the best of me and now I’m a weepy mess – just in time to go to a gathering of people I don’t know – way to may a good first impression!
Before I go clean myself up I’ll leave you with a new work. I feel like I’ve released my inner painter. I think its kind of a Rorschach test. I know what I see in it, but wonder what others will see.
Wow! Those are incredibly abstract, I thought for sure you had started painting! The one at the top especially, very compelling! A little spooky, with a touch of something familiar, makes me look at them over and over again. I’m glad you’re getting work done!
Now go clean yourself up and meet some total strangers! (I know, that totally sucks.) Bring moo cards and give them to people!

Thanks, Julie. I looove the top one! It is spookilicious. It was part of a larger piece that just wasn’t working, I cropped it out, pushed things around a little and – voila! The mixer thing went excellent – and I need to make some new cards – I just have my old ones!!
