And I know what you mean. It's hard to not get caught up in what everyone else does, especially if they actually sell it. It makes me feel insecure - why do people like HER stuff and not mine?, etc., etc., I say to myself. I find people quite often announcing with great fanfare that a shot is straight out of the camera, and it's early morning for me, so perhaps I'm sounding mean, but really, I don't care. So often that means it's just a picture, not a vision. Not always, but often. I use photoshop like a paintbrush - whatever it takes to get there, to get to what I want to say. Of course, I am more writer than photographer, but my photgraphy and paintings are entertwined. I can't wait to see more of your inner visions. :) I love this image. And I know what you mean.
