I discovered “Vintage Photo Friday” last week and was determined to play this week . Of course, I forgot – but trying to get into the game anyway. This is a negative I bought recently. For some weird reason I love negatives more than photos. I think it’s the added sense of discovery. I have to peer at the negatives to see if there’s anything I might possibly like – and then I have to scan them, invert – and presto – sometimes I get a real jewel.
I love this one. Looks like someone did some heavyhanded dodging and burning on the negative – but I think that’s why I love it.

Welcome to Vintage Photo Friday! So glad you are playing along! I’m particularly happy you shared a negative. Is there a special way you have to scan a negative?
Looking forward to seeing what else you share!
Cheers,

I just scan negatives as you would anything else – and then hit “invert” in photoshop! Even when I “think” I know how something is going to look it comes out different. I knew I was going to love this be cause of how the woman head is tilted – but I was concerned about the dodging and burning that had happened to it – but that really makes the photo for me!
