Our theme show next month at the Wooden Cow Gallery is “The Art of the Shrine” – I used to make shrines – but haven’t in several years. I noticed today that I seem  to have a couple of shrines around my house that have happened organically. This is a photo of one of them – I have photos of my grandmother, a religious icon, a couple of fleur-de-lis (one of my favorite graphic elements), matchbox shrines I’ve made and a few other things thrown in for good measure.  Do you have any shrines in your house?
