I took this photo a while back at a hotel that was being torn down near us. I loved that these roses were blooming while all this destruction was happening around them – I’m not really a flower person – but I felt those sturdy blooms needed to be recorded. Ran into the image today and felt that I needed to add some of my personality to it – and so for your viewing pleasure a “gothic rose”.
